Baratza Encore™ Home Grinder
$149.95
An excellent choice for an entry-level home grinder, the Encore's 40mm precision conical burrs have 40 individual grind settings. From 250 to 1,200 microns, it's easy to adjust from coarse for French press to fine for espresso. A high torque DC motor turns the burrs at a slow speed, keeping them cool, quiet and consistent. The hopper holds 8 oz of whole beans, with a hopper extension available. Also available is the Portaholder, which lets you grind straight into the portafilter for your home espresso machine. Baratza designs their grinders to be used for life; they're maintainable just like commercial grinders, with inexpensive parts and easy repairs. Baratza grinders come with a complete 1-year warranty, including parts, labor and freight.
