The farm
Who grows it
This coffee comes from the Kii factory in Kirinyaga, within sight of Mt. Kenya. About 80 small farmers bring their cherries here.
Each batch is sorted by hand, fermented overnight, washed, and dried on raised beds for 8 to 14 days.
The farmers compost the leftover coffee fruit to feed their trees, and the factory reuses its water.
