El Canchón is a carefully crafted coffee profile originating from Nuevo Oriente region in eastern Guatemala. Created by San Miguel Coffees, this profile was developed to offer roasters access to a consistent, high-quality coffee with a reliable cup profile year after year—ideal for blends and roasters seeking dependable volume and flavor. Oriente is a region marked by rich volcanic activity, home to over 80 volcanoes—though only 18 are officially recognized. These volcanic soils, paired with the region’s humid microclimate, contribute to coffees with balanced sweetness, mid acidity, and good body.
